Local Rules
- OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27-1)
a) All course boundary hedges.
b) Beyond the fence adjoining the bridle path and roads beyond or adjoining the 2nd, 4th and 7th greens.
c) Beyond the white markers to the sides and rear of the 18th green. - WATER HAZARDS (Rule 26)
a) Water hazards unmarked or defined by yellow stakes are ordinary water hazards.
b) Water hazards identified by red stakes are lateral water hazards - YOUNG TREES
A ball lying with 1 club's length of a tree marked with yellow or orange tape, that interferes with a player's stance or intended swing MUST be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b(i). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted. - IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-2)
a) All fences around tees.
b) All artificial surfaces and constructed roads, buggy paths, paths, viewing towers and bridges within the course boundaries.
c) Greenkeeping sheds, equipment and shelters. - STONES IN BUNKERS (Rule 24-1)
Stones lying in bunkers are movable obstructions - PRACTICE AREAS
The practice putting green, the net adjacent the 1st tee and the practice range are integral parts of the course on which practice is permitted prior to a stroke play competition. The pitching green above the practice range is a "wrong putting green". Rule 25-3 applies. - FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. - RUTS MADE BY TRACTORS
Deep ruts made by tractors or other greenkeeping equipment are defined by the Committee as "Ground Under Repairs". Rule 25-1 applies.
